Hello from Our Elf on the Shelf! Ho ho ho! I’m your friendly Elf on the Shelf, here to help spread holiday cheer at the library this December! I’m not here to cause any mischief—I’m all about lending a hand and making the season extra special for everyone. I’ll be hanging around the library starting the first weekend in December, and I can’t wait to share all the fun and festive happenings with you! You can follow my daily adventures right here on the website, and don’t forget to check the library’s Facebook page for even more holiday magic.I’ll be with you all the way until December 20th, when I’ll join Santa for a special ride back to the North Pole. After the library’s Breakfast with Santa on the 20th, I’ll be hopping onto Santa’s sleigh to help him get ready for Christmas! 🎄✨ Create Your Own Elf-in-Training! ✨🎄 Why not craft your very own holiday helper this season? Whether it’s a Bear-on-the-Chair, Doll-in-the-Hall, or GI Joe-in-the-Snow, making your own Elf is a fun way to add some extra magic to your home this holiday season! We’d love to see your little helpers! Share your creations with us on Facebook or send us pictures to add to our Elf Friends Gallery at info@sequatchiecountylibrary.org . Stay tuned for all the fun updates, and I’ll see you soon at the library!Your Helpful Elf ✨
12/2 – My Library Adventure!
Elf on the Shelf’s Library Adventure! Ho ho ho! It’s me, your friendly Elf on the Shelf! Today marks only 23 days until Christmas, and I’m having the BEST time here at the library! I started my day by reading a super fun book called ‘Bulldozer’s Christmas Dig ‘ by Candace Fleming —such a great story! After that, I decorated my own little corner of the library with all my favorite Christmas books, a picture of me with Santa , and even hung my very own stocking! I also picked out some great books for later this week—can’t wait to dive into those! Then, I decorated my own tiny Christmas tree with shiny ornaments and lots of sparkles! At 10 AM, I had the best time watching Toddler Time! I sang along with my littlest friends as they decorated foam gingerbread men with stickers. It was SO much fun, and I can’t wait to meet the REAL Gingerbread Man on Friday! I’m so excited for all the Christmas fun coming up at the library. Be sure to stop by soon to see my cozy corner and join in the holiday cheer!
🎄✨ Be sure to check in for festive updates from Sequatchie County Public Library’s very own Elf this month! 🎁📚 You won’t want to miss the holiday cheer!

12/1 – Welcome to Sequatchie
🎄✨ Elf on the Shelf in Sequatchie! ✨🎄 After that wild journey from the North Pole, I decided to treat myself to a much-needed break before getting to work here at the Sequatchie County Public Library! 🛀💆♂️ A little relaxation goes a long way, so I’ve been enjoying some quiet time exploring the library – a lot has changed since last year- eating a good breakfast, and a good book (of course!). 📖 Today I read: The Isle of Misfits: The Candy Cane Culprit by Jamie Mae.Sometimes, even elves need to recharge their batteries before all the holiday fun begins! 🎅🏼💫 Don’t worry, I’ll be back to my lookout duties soon enough—making sure everyone is on their best behavior and spreading lots of Christmas cheer! 🎁🎉 Stay tuned, there’s more holiday magic coming your way! 🎄✨ #ElfOnTheShelf #RelaxAndRecharge #SequatchieCountyLibrary #ElfSelfCare
11/30 – On My Way to Sequatchie County Public Library!
🎅🏼🚨 Phew! What a journey! 🚨🎅🏼 Hello from Sequatchie County! It’s your favorite Elf on the Shelf, reporting in after the longest adventure to get here! 🌟I had to wake up before sunrise to start my trip from the North Pole. 🌅 First, I hopped on a sled pulled by some reindeer to the airport—those reindeer sure know how to get me moving! 🦌 ❄️ Then, I boarded a plane, flew across snowy skies, and hopped on a train for a little while 🚂… but wait—there’s more! ✈️ I had to catch another plane 🛫 and then, finally, I rode in a car 🚗 all the way to the Sequatchie County Public Library! Now that I’m here, I’m ready for all the fun and holiday cheer! 🎄✨ I can’t wait to see all of you! I’m keeping an eye on things and making sure everyone is being nice! 🎅🏼😉Stay tuned for more elf shenanigans! 📚🎉 #ElfOnTheShelf #HolidayFun #SequatchieCountyPublicLibrary #NorthPoleAdventure
11/29 – Going to Bed EARLY! I’ve got a LONG Trip Tomorrow!
A Special Message from Your Helpful Elf on the Shelf! Hey there, friends! It’s me, your Elf on the Shelf! I just wanted to send a quick note before I board my flight from the North Pole to Tennessee on Friday, November 30. I’m sooo excited to come back to the Sequatchie County Library and see all of you again this year! I’ve been busy packing up all my elf-sized clothes and goodies, but guess what? I think I may have over-packed… oops! Thankfully, my tickets and itinerary are all set, so I’m ready to go! But before I head out, I made a little mess (oops again!) , so I had to spend some extra time cleaning up tonight. Can’t go to bed with a messy house, you know! Remember I’m a special HELPFUL ELF. I don’t make messes, pull pranks, or cause mischief. I help out at the library! I’ll be flying in on Friday and taking it easy on Saturday to rest up for all the fun we’re going to have. I’m going to get ready for a busy month on Sunday, and then I can’t wait to join you all at the library on Monday! I’m counting down the days until I get to visit with all my little friends again! See you soon! With lots of elf hugs, Your Elf on the Shelf
